Underworld: Rise of the Lycans delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). Fairly entertaining except Michael Sheen is too contemporary for the role of Lucien and with all the beautiful vampire women running around manages to fall for the ugliest in the bunch!

The story line is very interesting and unique, but there is no happy ending to this movie. All movies can't have a happy ending, but this is one that seems as though it should have. There was an awesome lovestory line going on that I was sorry to see it end the way it did. It kind of left me wanting more.

I guess stuffing a napkin in the upper lip of a actress merits overdoing a movie. they should have stopped with second one... first one was amazing. they are just milking it now, at least come up with a different plot if you're going to make a prequel, seriously... this isn't star wars.

The third installment of the Underworld series is the best one yet. The birth of the greatest lycan leader and the tale of the events that started the war. Awesome effects, great acting and just a great movie.
